“Butter Chicken” – just the name can lead you to relish this all-time favorite Indian dish. Butter chicken remains a hit among Indians and foreigners alike.

For Marination: 1. Put raw chicken pieces in a mixing bowl and add salt, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Mix well.
2. Refrigerate for about 15-20 minutes.
3. Now add curd to the refrigerated mix. After this add salt, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, garam masala, kasoori methi
and mustard oil.
Mix well and refrigerate again for an hour. Roast the marinated chicken in the oven for about 30 minutes until it is three-quarters cooked.
Prepare Chicken Gravy: 1. In a pan with butter Heat 2 tsp oil. 2. Add cloves, cinnamon stick, mace and cardamom. Then add chopped tomatoes, garlic and ginger and fry it.
Prepare Chicken Gravy: Mix well and then grind it well. 3. In another pan, heat two more cubes of butter along with ginger garlic paste.
Prepare Chicken Gravy: 4. Add tomato puree made from the mixture. Now add red chili powder, kasoori methi, honey and finally the fried chicken pieces.

Let it come to a boil.
5. Add green chili, cardamom powder and cream. Mix well.
6.Serve with a spoonful of cream.
